SRINAGAR: The DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship in Germany is offering a fully funded Master’s degree programme for the year 2025–2026 for international students. The deadline for submission of the application is July 31, 2025.
The scholarship provides its students the opportunity to engage in their Master’s degree programme at any of the eight German universities. The courses will commence in September/October 2025. The course duration is either two years or one year, depending on the respective university or subject area.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, airfare, travel, accommodation, health insurance, and a monthly allowance of 861 euros. The eligibility criteria involves that the applicants must possess a first-year university Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, latest university degree obtained in the past six years. They must be from a developing country. Applications should be submitted in either English or German. Each Master’s programme has additional requirements that the applicant must fulfil.
The documents required are a ticked-off checklist and list of criteria, signed by hand (print it out, sign it by hand, scan it and include it in your documents), single letter of motivation, higher education degree certificates, full set of transcripts of records, proof of English language skills, current written reference.
