SRINAGAR: The District Social Welfare Office, Srinagar, has announced a recruitment drive, inviting applications for the posts of Special Teacher, Trained Teacher, and Assistant Teacher at Abhedananda Home, Solina, Srinagar. This recruitment offers six contractual vacancies.
The application process is online and the deadline to apply is January 25, 2025.
The eligibility criteria for the post of Special Teacher includes Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Special Education with 2 years of experience or Diploma in Special Education with three years of experience or Bachelor in Rehabilitation Science (BRS) with one year of experience. For the post of Trained Teacher, the eligibility includes BEd in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education with one year of experience or Bachelor in Rehabilitation Science (BRS). For the post of Assistant Teacher, the criteria is BEd in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education with one year of experience. Candidates willing to apply must be aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2024.
The selection process will include an assessment of academic qualifications and an interview. Successful applicants will be offered a consolidated monthly honorarium as Special Teacher one post (Male), with Rs 17,250, Trained Teacher three posts (2 Male, 1 Female), with Rs 14,500, and Assistant Teacher two posts (1 Male, 1 Female), with Rs 9,500.
The documents required for the online application process include, Date of Birth Certificate, Academic and Technical Qualification Certificates, Domicile Certificate, Aadhar Card, and Experience Certificates. After the process, the application must be submitted to the District Social Welfare Office, Srinagar (Block C, Old Secretariat, Jehangir Chowk) by 4:30 pm on January 25, 2025.
