Ordering magisterial enquiry into the two death cases since last two days and distributed Rs 100000/ among the injured persons admitted in SKIMS on Monday. Government also announced a cash exgratia of Rs one lakh each to the families of youth who died in Ganderbal and Watergam.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Asgar Hassan Samoon Monday, visited SKIMS Soura and met six patients who got injured at different places of the valley during recent clashes.  He provided Red Cross relief of Rs 10000/- to families/ attendants of each injured person being treated at the SKIMS.

Samoon announced Rs one lakh each in favour of next of kin of the two persons of Batwani of District Ganderbal and one who died in Watergam village of Rafiabad on Sunday.  “Samoon directed Concerned Deputy Commissioners/ SSPs to lodge FIRs and conduct magisterial enquiry into the death cases immediately,” a government press release said.

The statement added that the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has kept three Red Cross ambulances for any emergencies for public, besides ambulances of Health/ Medical /SKIMS which are ready to cope up the situation.

Government has directed the director, CAPD to provide fresh vegetables/ Milk and ensure Home delivery of LPG to the consumers and keep open sale outlets in all the towns where restrictions are imposed to reduce in convenience to the public. The statement added.

Director, Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineer EM&RE/ PHE have been to keep their services available round the clock especially during present scenario.
