SRINAGAR: The Haj Committee of India has announced free residential coaching with hostel facilities for eligible minority candidates preparing for the Civil Services (Preliminary-cum-Mains) Examination 2026. The initiative will be hosted at the Haj House Residential Coaching Institute (HHRCI) in Mumbai.
As per the official notification, online applications are now open on the Haj Committee’s website and will be accepted until June 21, 2025. A total of 100 candidates will be selected, with 80 per cent of the seats reserved for Muslim minority candidates and the remaining 20 per cent for other minority groups, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
The selection process includes an MCQ-based entrance examination on July 13, 2025, covering General Studies (Paper I) and CSAT (Paper II), followed by an essay writing and personal interview on 24 and 25 July 2025. Final admissions will be completed by July 31, 2025, and coaching classes will commence on August 11, 2025.
Applicants must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 100 online and upload necessary documents, including a recent passport-size photograph, signature, educational qualification certificates, caste and income certificates.
To be eligible, applicants must be graduates or final-year students from a recognised university at the time of application and must submit self-attested mark sheets or certificates during admission; failing which their applications will be cancelled.
