SRINAGAR: The fourth earthquake in less than an hour has struck Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh. The seismic activity in Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir escalated further as another earthquake, registering a magnitude of 3.6, struck Kishtwar at 4:18 p.m. The epicentre of the quake was identified at coordinates 33.37°N, 76.57°E, with a depth of 10 km, according to data from the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) and reported by Kashmir Weather.

Before this, at 4:32 p.m., the region experienced a third earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8. The seismic event occurred at 4:01 p.m., and its coordinates were recorded at 33.34°N, 76.78°E, with a depth of 10 km. The NCS served as the primary data source for this seismic activity.

Earlier at 4:25 p.m., Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed another earthquake, this time measuring 5.1 in magnitude. The epicentre was reported at 76.7188°E, 33.1832°N, with a depth of 16 km, as communicated by Kashmir Weather.

The sequence began with a significant earthquake at 3:48 p.m., where Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir were jolted by a 5.7 magnitude quake. The epicentre was located in Kargil at coordinates 76.74°E, 33.15°N, and a depth of 10 km.
