Jammu Kashmir Bank Announces 278 Apprentice Vacancies for 2024 

   

SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Bank Ltd has opened applications for its Apprentice Recruitment 2024 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment drive offers 278 positions across various districts in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, and other regions in India. The online registration process has commenced on December 24, 2024, and will close on January 7, 2025.

Eligible candidates must hold a graduation degree, be between 20 and 28 years of age, and have proficiency in the local language of their region. Those selected will engage in a one-year apprenticeship, receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 10,500. Additionally, Rs 1,500 will be transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), and a conveyance allowance of up to Rs 1,250 will also be provided.

The selection process will involve an online written test divided into two sections: General Awareness & English Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability. Each section will consist of 50 questions worth 50 marks, with a time limit of 30 minutes per section. The test includes a penalty of one-quarter of the marks for every incorrect answer. A merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ aggregate scores, with age used as a deciding factor in case of a tie.

To apply, candidates must first register on the Apprenticeship India portal and select the position titled “Business Correspondent/Facilitator V4.0” created by Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd. Once this step is completed, they can submit their application and pay the required fees through the bank’s website. The application fee is Rs 700 for unreserved candidates and Rs 500 for reserved category candidates. Payments can be made online using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, and other methods.
