SRINAGAR: To ensure strict security arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, the Jammu and Kashmir government has declared the entire pilgrimage route a ‘No Flying Zone’.
According to the Home Department of the Union Territory, all routes of the Amarnath Yatra both the Pahalgam and Baltal axes—have been brought under aerial restrictions.
The directive applies to all types of aerial devices, including UAVs, drones, and balloons, and will remain in force from July 01 to August 10.
The decision follows an advisory from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
