The revised JKAACL schemes focus on enriching Jammu & Kashmir’s cultural landscape by supporting traditional art forms, expanding language publications, and promoting intercultural exchanges. New schemes, such as the Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme, aim to revitalise mentorship in various art forms. Additionally, Rs 50 lakh has been allocated to an Artists and Writers’ Welfare Fund, highlighting the government’s commitment to the welfare of the artistic community.

Meanwhile, Project YUVA is set to transform Jammu & Kashmir into a hub of entrepreneurship, creating 1.37 lakh enterprises and 4.25 lakh job opportunities over the next five years. With a budgetary support of Rs 1,830 crore, this initiative aligns with the national vision of job creation and aims to establish a sustainable economic model in the region.

These initiatives reflect the J&K government’s dedication to preserving cultural heritage while fostering economic growth and empowering the youth.
