Pertinently, the Government of India has, on the intervention of the Prime Minister, agreed to share the infrastructure cost of the proposed Fashion Technology Institute on 90:10 basis.

“Out of the total project cost of Rs 325.36 crore, the central government share will be to the tune of Rs 257.89 crore, while the remaining amount will be provided by the State Government.”
