SRINAGAR

Two persons died and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

According to police spokesman, a Truck (platform) bearing registration number JK021/1877 skidded off the road at Nagabal, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police post Pakherpora and fell in a nearby stream, resulting in injuries to seven persons travelling on the platform. The injured were shifted to Charar-e-Sharief Hospital. Among them four were referred to SMHS, Hospital where Mohammad Kamal Teli son of Moma Teli resident of Pakherpora succumbed to his injuries at SMHS. The body was  handed over to his relatives for last rites. A case has been registered in this regard.

In continuation to road accident at Chinner Ganderbal on 07.12.2013, in which one person Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh was injured. He was was admitted in SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

A Sumo bearing registration number JK03/6167 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02Q/2023 at K.P Chowk, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Bopinder Singh (feeriwala) age 18 years, son of Surinder Singh resident of Punjab at present Nai Basti, Anantnag. The injured has been referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Cruser vehicle bearing registration number JK05B/0397 rammed into a wall at upper Bus stop Bandipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Bandipora, resulting in injuries to driver of vehicle Bilal Ahmad Wani son of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Magnipora. The injured has been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Truck bearing registration number JK01K/7202 hit a Motorcycle at Braculu, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Naseer Ahmad Shah son of Taibu Din resident of Matibugh. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
