SRINAGAR: University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, has announced PG Scholarships for Professional Courses for SC/ST communities.
The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students from the deprived section of society and provide them with an opportunity to undertake postgraduate-level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, etc.
The benefits for the selected candidates under M.E./M.Tech. course will receive Rs 7,800 per month for the duration of the PG course and students pursuing other courses will receive Rs 4,500 per month.
