SRINAGAR: A photograph that is doing rounds on the social media indicates the orphaned baby of Waseem Bari and others might have to be tested for Covid-19 after BJP state president tested positive on Tuesday. The photograph shows the visiting BJP delegation actually consoling the minor.

“Responsible people discussing how to handle Valley now .look at distancing, masks, child. Marg Darshaks ?,” renowned cardiologist Upendra Kaul wrote on his Facebook wall while sharing the photograph. The visiting BJP leaders had shared a bunch of photographs on their social media accounts.

The baby orphan is in the lap of Ram Madhav and state BJP president is too close to the two. The BJP delegation has visited the family of Waseem Bari on July 12 . Bari was killed by militants along with his father and brother on July 8 evening when they were on the shop located within their home. The police have dismissed all the 10 cops who were guarding the family. They have been arrested too.

Ram Madhav National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party also shared several photographs with the family of the slain Bari on twitter.

“Visited Bandipora, Kashmir today together with MoS Dr Jitendra Singh to meet the wife n family members of martyred BJP leader Wasim Bari and his father and brother and condole their demise. Offered financial assistance from the party side. Child in my lap is Wasim’s 2 yr daughter,” Madhav tweeted.

The BJP delegation comprised Dr Jitendra Singh, Ram Madhav, state BJP president Ravinder Raina and many others. They all have gone into quarantine after Raina tested positive.

After his visit to Bandipora, the J&K BJP president and other leaders had attended a condolence meeting held for the slain party leaders. The meeting was held at Srinagar’s Tagore Hall where according to reports at least more than 100 BJP activists and local leaders from across Kashmir were present.

According to reports Raina after the end of the condolence meeting was seen busy in taking selfies with party workers. Several reporters and a huge number of forces personnel were also present there. Earlier, Raina was part of the funeral procession of the slain BJP activist in Bandipore as well.

Sources said that the BJP delegation had also met several senior government officials in Bandipora and Srinagar. Dr Singh actually presided over a Covid-19 review meeting in Srinagar before he took off from Srinagar. He later tweeted that he is in self-quarantine.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu, Advisor Baseer Khan along with several top police and civil administration officers on Tuesday also visited Bari’s family in Bandipora.

Kashmir Life tried to contact the family of Bari but the efforts failed. However, sources from the village suggested that they have not been tested for the disease so far.
