Government forces ransacked the house of senior police officer Nisar Ahmed Bakshi for the eight time since 2008 in Islamabad on Wednesday afternoon following a gunfight in Shopian.

The officer posted the photos of broken windows and windscreen smashed cars on his Facebook wall on Thursday morning.
DSP Bakshi is a resident of Nai Basti area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
DSP posted nine photographs on his Facebook wall which show windows of his house damaged and windscreens of few cars and broken scooter and a bike.
Taking to social networking site Facebook Bakshi wrote “Vandalism by security forces at K P Road Anantnag. Property worth lacs including windows and windowpanes of my residential house damaged. Houses/Vehicles and shops smashed and attacked by rods and rocks. This is for the 8th time since 2008 that my residential house has been damaged in such a way.”
Within seven hours, his Facebook post had garnered around 31 shares while his friends commented in solidarity.
One of his Facebook friends, Abdul Rashid Dar, commented: “When the houses of police officers are damaged in such a way what should be the fate of other people.”
Another Facebook user Farooq Ahmed Zargar commented: “Do you expect any more special than this. You know the law Boss.”
Muhammad Ishaq another Facebook user wrote “this is the healing touch policy this is not good varry shame.”
His brother, a doctor by profession, Iftikhar Bakhshi, also comments and wrote: “Beasts in uniform, as if they enjoy damaging public property. This is sheer hooliganism. No accountability at all. At least someone from the district administration should take cognizance of such incidents. Mohalla committees should apprise the concerned SHO and other district admins so that there will be no such loss to the civilian property in future.”
Reports said that Police and SOG on Wednesday evening went on a rampage in K P Road and Khanabal areas of Islamabad and damaged window panes of several houses and also thrashed passer-by after some youth pelted few stones on their vehicle as the encounter was on in Turkawangam area of Shopian district.
The policemen not only damaged the parked cars but also beat up commuters who were passing through Khanabal, sources said.
They added that forces also forcibly took away four youth from Khanabal after damaging several houses.
Meanwhile, SSP Islamabad when contacted refused to comment about the incident and refutes the allegation of vandalism and said that go and ask the one with whom the incident has happened.
