SRINAGAR: The administration has decided to reopen the historic Naranag Temple in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district for devotees and tourists following a comprehensive security review.
In a post on X, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor said the decision was taken after a thorough assessment of the security situation.
“After a thorough security review, a decision has been taken to open the Naranag Temple at Ganderbal for devotees and tourists,” the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir, said in the post.
The reopening is expected to facilitate pilgrimage and tourism activities in the scenic Naranag area, known for its ancient temple complex and picturesque surroundings.
