SRINAGAR: India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Friday said that India targeted 13 sites in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the Pahalgam attack.

Speaking at the 62nd convocation of IIT Madras, Doval said that the targets included 13 air bases, nine of which were terror sites located deep inside Pakistan.
“We decided to have nine terrorist targets across Pakistan, not in border areas. We missed none and hit nowhere else. It was precise,” Doval was quoted as saying by ANI. “The entire operation took only 23 minutes.”
He said the mission was executed with high precision and backed by indigenous technology. “We are really proud of the indigenous content involved,” he added.
Doval also criticised international media coverage of the operation, challenging them to present any evidence of damage to Indian installations.
“Foreign press claimed that Pakistan retaliated. You show me one image showing damage to any Indian installation, even a broken glass pane,” Doval said.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 following the Pahalgam attack by Pakistan-sponsored militants, which left 26 tourists dead.
