According to the official order, issued under reference number No. HD-Gaz0Gen/373/2025-02- (E-7650616) and signed on June 1, 2026, by Dr. Javed Iqbal (JKAS), Additional Secretary to the Government, selected candidates must comply within a strict 15-day window or face the automatic forfeiture of their appointment rights.

This administrative directive follows the department’s receipt of the formalized selection list from the JK Public Service Commission, which was finalized via communication No. PSC/DR/Medical Officer (Allopathic)/H and ME/2026 on May 20, 2026. To initiate the background screening, all listed medical professionals must register their email addresses and mobile numbers in person at the Health and Medical Education Department, located at the Civil Secretariat in either Srinagar or Jammu. The gathered details will be integrated into the government’s digital Employee Verification System for processing Personnel Verification Rolls, a statutory prerequisite for formal deployment.

The administration has made it clear that this procedure strictly adheres to the guidelines laid down in Circular No. 18-JK (GAD) of 2022, dated May 20, 2022, issued by the General Administration Department. Under the rigid terms of the notice’s forfeiture clause, any candidate who fails to provide their verification contact details within the stipulated 15 days positively from the date of issuance will be presumed unwilling to accept the post. Consequently, their right to appointment will be canceled summarily without any further administrative notice.
