Her journey from the troubled atmosphere of Kashmir to academic excellence in Mohali is truly inspiring. An erstwhile student of DPS Srinagar, her family decided to enroll her in a school outside Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2017, her father, a banker, sent her mother and the two sisters to Tricity. She was enrolled in the Gurukul, Zirakpur where she studied for all these years. Aieda’s parents took the decision of shifting their kids after the militants barged into the school. There was a gun battle around though the students stayed safe.

Interestingly, all the three operate from the same school. Her mother, Usra is teaching in the same school. Aieda’s elder sister is studying twelfth standard in the same school. Aieda wants to be a doctor because she believes, ‘saving one person means saving humanity’.

Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan demonstrated exceptional performance in the CBSE Class X exams, achieving pass percentages of 96.84, 97.26, and 96.84, respectively. The region’s overall pass rate increased by 0.48 percent from the previous year, reaching 93.60, indicating a positive trend in academic performance. Nationally, girls surpassed boys with a pass percentage of 94.75.

Notably, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas exhibited the highest pass percentage among autonomous bodies at 99.09, followed by private schools (94.54), CTSA (94.40), Delhi Government schools (86.72), and government-aided schools (80.95).
