Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Muslim League, deputy president, Masrat Alam Bhat, was bailed out a Baramulla, district Court but was re-arrested in the central jail Srinagar premises and shifted to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) Humhama on Friday.
The pioneer of 2010, uprising, Masrat, was facing charges under the case FIR No 215/2010, registered in police station Pattan, under sections 148,149,332,336,307,427 and 188 RPC.
Masrat, was bailed out by the Baramulla, Court and when the order was submitted to the Central Jail Srinagar authorities, they released him.
A Muslim League Spokesman informed Kashmir Life, that however, a police party re-arrested Masrat Alam Bhat, in the jail premeses and shifted him to JIC Humhama.
Masrat, spearheaded the 2010, uprising before he was arrested on October 18, 2010. Since then Masrat is undergoing detention.
Masrat is considered among the front line leaders of Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani.
In the beginning of the current year, Supreme Court had quashed Public Safety Against him.
A Muslim League spokesman said that the party has strongly condemned the re-arresting of Masrat Alam Bhat.
