SRINAGAR: Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the upcoming Vande Bharat Sleeper train successfully underwent a trial run conducted by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS).
Sharing a video of the trial on X, the Minister said the test was carried out on the Kota–Nagda section, where the train achieved a speed of 180 kilometres per hour. He noted that glasses of water placed inside the coach remained perfectly still during the run.

According to Vaishnaw, the water test highlighted the advanced technological features and stability of the new-generation sleeper train, which is being developed to operate at higher speeds with enhanced passenger comfort.
