Chairing a high-level meeting, the Chief Secretary stressed the need for meticulous planning and close coordination among all departments involved in the examination process. He instructed officials to prepare a comprehensive checklist covering every aspect of the examination to ensure seamless execution.

Dulloo directed Deputy Commissioners to personally supervise preparations in their respective districts in coordination with the Police Department and National Testing Agency (NTA) officials. He emphasised that examination centres should preferably be established in government educational institutions and inspected well in advance.

The Chief Secretary also ordered the installation and verification of CCTV surveillance systems, mobile jammers, uninterrupted power supply with backup arrangements, drinking water facilities and other essential amenities at all examination centres.

The meeting reviewed district-wise preparedness, including the number of candidates and examination centres, with Deputy Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police from all districts participating through video conferencing.

Director General of the National Testing Agency, Abhishek Singh, briefed the meeting on a series of technology-driven measures aimed at ensuring a fair, transparent and secure examination process. He called for proactive action against misinformation and rumour-mongering on social media platforms that could affect candidates.

Singh informed the meeting that inspections of all examination centres would be completed by 14 June. He also highlighted the formation of State-Level and District-Level Coordination Committees to oversee preparations and ensure effective monitoring.

In a major security measure, question papers will be airlifted to designated examination cities and answer sheets transported after the examination with the support of the Indian Air Force to maintain confidentiality and security, the meeting was told.

Mock drills will be conducted on June 20, to assess preparedness ahead of the examination. Each centre will be monitored by a designated Magistrate and police officer, while flying squads and independent NTA observers will conduct inspections, particularly at sensitive locations.

Officials informed the meeting that all centres would be equipped with biometric verification facilities, CCTV surveillance, mobile jammers, seating plans, generator sets and frisking arrangements. Invigilators will also undergo orientation to ensure adherence to examination protocols.

Reiterating the importance of maintaining the integrity of the examination process, the Chief Secretary directed all departments to work in close coordination to provide a secure and conducive environment for candidates appearing in the NEET-UG re-examination.
