The premium fuels sold by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Indian Oil Corporation Limited have witnessed a price rise ranging between Rs 2.09 and Rs 2.35 per litre.

The revised rates apply to high-performance petrol variants, including BPCL’s Speed, HPCL’s Power, and IOCL’s XP95, which are marketed as premium fuels offering enhanced engine efficiency.

The hike comes against the backdrop of tightening global crude supplies and volatility in international oil markets, driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

There was no immediate change announced in the prices of regular petrol and diesel.
