SRINAGAR: Kashmir’s specially-abled cricketer Umar Ashraf Beigh was part of India’s India Deaf Cricket Team that recently won the DICC T20 Champions Trophy in the United Arab Emirates.

Watch him offer the details first hand in an interview that was attended by an expert interpreter from Delhi.

Beigh, a resident of Baramulla, has been living in Srinagar. He graduated from Amar Singh College.

The Dubai tournament was attended by specially-abled teams from Australia, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

Beigh earlier represented India in the 2014 Dosti Cup against Pakistan which Punjab hosted. A year later, he was part of the India squad for another event in UAE.
