Pari Mahal, one of Srinagar’s most prominent heritage sites, was built in the 17th century by Mughal prince Dara Shikoh. The monument, believed to have served as a centre for the study of astronomy and Sufi philosophy, provided a scenic backdrop to the Yoga Day celebrations, blending the message of wellness with the city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.
