SRINAGAR: Former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan has reacted to the growing popularity of Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer, saying she has been enjoying the social media reels being made in support of him.
Gauahar, who won Bigg Boss 7, shared a video discussing the online trends around Qazi and said she was amused by reels in which viewers rank him as their favourite contestant.
She said creators were making videos listing their five favourite contestants, with Qazi repeatedly occupying the top position.
“Mujhe itna maza aa raha hai ye dekh ke,” Gauahar said while reacting to the trend.
She also referred to another trend in which social media users showcase the contestants they like, saying that in several such videos, viewers were expressing their preference for Qazi.
Describing the growing online buzz around the contestant as “Qazi fever”, Gauahar said she was enjoying the trend.
“This Qazi fever is crazy, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the reels,” she said.
Gauahar also expressed hope that Qazi would continue his journey without getting involved in anything that could affect his game.
“Main bas pray karti hoon ki woh kuch galat na kare, aur jaise chal raha hai, bas waise hi chale,” she said.
Towards the end of the video, Gauahar also spoke about the contestants she feels could be in contention for the finale. She named Gullu, Qazi and Mahi.
Her comments come amid continued social media attention around Qazi, with viewers sharing reels and posts expressing support for the contestant.
Bigg Boss 20 continues to feature changing equations, disagreements and emotional moments as contestants compete to remain in the reality show.
