Speaking during the 132nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister said the global situation remains volatile, with continued wars and tensions disrupting progress after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Referring to ongoing conflicts involving the United States, Israel and Iran, he said the situation in the Gulf region—crucial for India’s energy supplies—has raised concerns over fuel availability worldwide.

He expressed gratitude to Gulf nations for supporting over one crore Indians living and working there, noting their continued cooperation during difficult times.

Despite the crisis, the Prime Minister said India is in a stronger position due to its global partnerships, support from friendly nations, and enhanced domestic capabilities built over the past decade.

Calling it a challenging phase, he urged citizens to remain united and resilient, expressing confidence that the country would overcome the situation through collective strength.

The Prime Minister also cautioned against politicising the issue and spreading misinformation, urging people to rely only on official communication and remain vigilant against rumours.
