A day before Central Kashmir goes to polls on April 30, 2014, the roads were sealed by men in uniform and frequent frisking was seen. In between the polling staff was busy in preparations and doing their bit to ensure that the arrangements are up to the mark. With state police chief confident of ensuring ‘free and fair’ elections and claims that ‘stone pelters and trouble mongers’ are behind the bars, the high profile contest still keeps the administration on toes.
