-from J&K, where traders can receive calls from PaK but not return it. Most of the trade is done through e-mails or third party contacts outside J&K. A dispute resolution mechanism is yet to be put in place and any transaction is impossible in absence of banking relations between the two sides. Traders, at least in Kashmir, are against creating a mechanism that will convert “intra-Kashmir trade” into “formal international trade” thinking it will justify status quo and will have long term political implications.
