2012 is history. Like every other year, it was a mixed bag of good, bad and ugly events. Kashmir Life revisited different sectors to get the real feel of the net change that took place in last 365 days. While 2012 proved a watershed year, the noises of elections dominated the democracy as powerful and mighty managed new ways to skip the accountability processes. A society trying to come out of a dehumanized past was witness to certain crimes within and outside the state. Attempts aimed at using faith to achieve larger objectives or simply fiddling with it, was a newer happening this year.
